This article captures the profound and transformative experience of my first journey through Family Constellation Therapy. It is highlighting the deep insights and emotional shifts that occurred during the first session I ever experienced many years ago.
I entered the session of Family Constellation Therapy for the first time the day my appointment was scheduled. Had to come with some characteristics of how I perceive my parents and myself. I met Aurora again and a room full of people; older, younger, all were there. The show started with the constellation of someone else. It was hard to understand how some other people started acting and answering questions moderated by the lead of the constellation. Then it could be felt and recognized that nearly magic happens; emotions, hugs, summary, trespassing of energy, and many other aspects I could not understand. Everybody was however excited about and works seemed to be done.
Time for mine had come; my hand was taken and my energy was passed to my representative (someone who was channeling my information). Two other representatives were called to act as my parents, and my show started. I was wiped out and shocked. I could see the person acting as me behaving like me (with the physical pains and feelings I had). The same happened to people who were acting as my parents. Their postures, way of expression, way of being, answering questions, was just identical to the one I know from real life with my parents (who were over 2000 km away from Barcelona).
Through the entire scene and spectacle, my representative (and myself who was sitting and observing all) understood that the way I perceive my life was actually the way I was taught by my parents and the way they had to live their life long time ago (before I was born), with their problems, history, and reality. This perception maybe worked for them but did not work for me. I was a different person living in different circumstances. All my hard work I did during my life, was the only way to get attention or survive. It was the driver for me and the only version of truth and perception. Now it did not make any sense anymore. I stood up and started playing with the person who was my father to invalidate the pattern that was missing. At the end, I received clear masculine and feminine energy without their experience to start living without these weights.
Another 21 days were bumpy as I saw everything from a different perspective. Nothing changed in my physical life, but everything seemed to be different. All was changing more gradually day by day when a new perspective without the old fog of patterns related to the perception of life that was acquired from my parents. Nothing good or bad about it… just another perspective that was revealed. Perspective, that changed again my life forever. I started a deep self-healing and awakening process with eyes wide open. Heart starting to represent feelings, and mind to go a bit in the background. Shocking, intensive and life-changing experience.
That day, it was clear for me in my mind, body, and soul, logically and by feelings, using gut and intuition, that this is what I want to remind myself. That was the first experience with Family Constellation Therapy in this life; however, I could feel that it’s something that I already know and used to use and practice. It was not new. I cried, remembering myself what I just forgot and decided to continue learning and practicing in order to recover my true essence and true self… to start using this technique as a tool in my own practice. Today, it’s my favourite technique and I am surprised how powerful and mind-blowing it is after every session I do. Thank you universe for bringing this to my life and allowing me to share it with others.
